Don’t marry the first girl you meet

———–

Vijender Singh married the first (and only) girl he ever dated.

———–

Bad decision.

———–

He should have dated a few girls before choosing the one.

———–

Until you date different kinds of girls, it’s impossible to know which kind
best suits you for a long-term relationship like marriage.

———–

But Vijender had no choice. Like most guys, he is painfully shy with women
as he has admitted in several interviews. If you’ve seen him on TV shows,
you would have noticed his awkward body language (the ultimate giveaway)
around the hot women on the show.

———–

Shy guys are vulnerable, they usually fall for the first girl who likes them.
And then they’re afraid to let go of the girl, afraid they’ll not find someone better.

———–

Look, I’m not dissing Vijender or his bride. I think he’s a cool guy and a world
champion whose achievements have made me proud as an Indian.
And maybe his wife Archana is an awesome young lady too.

———–

But fact is, you just can’t marry the first girl you meet!

———–

Look, women are like food. If someone came to you and said, please sign this
agreement that says you will eat ONLY Chinese food for the rest of your life,
would you sign it? Maybe you would, if you KNOW for sure that Chinese is
what you like best.

———–

Only after you’ve tried Moghlai, South Indian, Punjabi, Mediterranean, Gujarati,
Thai, Italian, Chinese and more can you know for sure what you enjoy the most.

———–

Vijender has committed to eat only Chinese for ever, without tasting other dishes
out there. Bad idea.

———–

Here’s my  prediction : After his shyness with women subsides in a couple of years
of marriage, Vijender will then be tempted to look around for the variety of dishes he
did not taste earlier.

———–

In short, he will have affairs.

———–

And if pressure from family, society, religion etc. stops him from having an affair,
the repression will manifest in the form of stress, possibly disease too.

———–

Hey, don’t hate me for stating the truth.

———–

If you’re single and are looking to settle down, don’t marry the first girl you meet.

———–

Date a variety of girls first and then decide on THE ONE.

———–

Marry the girl not because you don’t have anyone else, but because you don’t
WANT anyone else.
